**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Internalisation Strategy & Optimisation** - Lead the internalisation of equity order flow, optimising trading logic, order routing, and execution strategies.
- **P&L Management** - Maximise the profitability of the internalisation book while ensuring alignment with risk and compliance frameworks.
- **Risk & Compliance Oversight** - Define and manage risk parameters, ensuring FCA compliance, adherence to MiFID II regulations, and alignment with Best Execution policies.
- **Cost & Pricing Efficiency** - Analyse the cost of trading, manage risk exposure, and ensure the firm offers the best possible prices to clients.
- **Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring** - Leverage analytics to track execution quality, liquidity trends, and market impact, providing actionable insights.
- **Technology & Automation** - Collaborate with tech teams to enhance trading infrastructure and automate key internalisation processes.
- **Market Research & Competitive Positioning** - Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market structure evolution.
**Key Qualifications & Experience**:
- Strong background in **equity trading, Delta One, or buy-side trading** with experience in internalisation strategies.
- Deep knowledge of **trading costs, risk management, and pricing models** to ensure effective execution.
- Experience with **algorithmic trading, order routing, and execution management systems**.
- Familiarity with **FCA regulations, MiFID II, and pre/post-trade transparency requirements**.
- Proven ability to **optimise P&L** and develop **data-driven strategies** using tools such as **SQL, Python, or Excel**.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills.
