The role will be responsible for keeping abreast of all regulatory matters and proactively reporting horizon regulation to the business to assist in shaping strategy and influencing upcoming regulation with key external stakeholders and associations.

**This will involve but not be limited to**:
**Compliance and Regulation**
- Ownership of the organisation’s compliance policies, procedures, and strategy with responsibility for ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated in line with legislation and reflective of, or are exceeding, industry best practice.
- Ensuring our Product portfolio is compliant across all territories and Product Specifications and meet or exceed industry best standards with particular reference to compliance with all regulations (including but not limited to TPD, CLP, MSDS)
- Identify, advise, and own all compliance risks related to the organisation with ownership of product compliance
- Provide technical leadership on all product related compliance matters
- Where appropriate, developing strong working relationships with external stakeholders including governmental bodies and associations
- Managing audits and investigations into regulatory and compliance related issues
- Responding to requests for information from regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance
- Managing policies, controls and procedures in relation to data protection matters.
- Attending external meetings and/or events with a view to expanding the knowledge base in the business’ compliance function.

**Qualification and desirable education requirements**
- Experience of working in a management position compliance-based role
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Commercial acumen
- In depth knowledge of sector related legislative and compliance
- Strong knowledge and capability of operational risk management
- Experience in setting and implementing and managing policies and processes across a growth organisation
- Demonstrable experience in working with or communicating with Regulatory bodies
