Finance Apprentice

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We have a role which will bring exciting opportunities for someone wanting to pursue a career in finance, based in our Hexham office. This is a great chance for someone wanting to learn all aspects of working in a professional business financial environment, assisting the property management accounts team with their workloads

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVE**:

- To assist the team in delivering and reaching their targets and deadlines, including timely processing of rental payments and contractor invoices
- To assist in the chasing of rent arrears
- Work with the front end lettings team to process new tenancy monies
- Effectively use accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases (full training provided)
- Provide an excellent customer service experience by responding to accounts queries from clients in a timely and professional manner
- Support the credit control process
- Understand the need for compliance with regulatory bodies
- Ensure the office is well maintained

**AS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU WILL**:

- Be well presented
- Require English and Mathematics GCSE

Have excellent communication skills and be confident dealing with colleagues and clients Work effectively as an individual and team player
- Have a genuine interest in working with numbers
- Be organised and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Give attention to detail and accuracy as a priority

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- HEXHAM: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
