Virtua UK Limited are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic 2 man Fibre Team to complement our existing FTTx department and support our continued growth.

**The Role**

Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day build activities on site, interfacing with the project team, other field engineers, delivery partners and customer stakeholders as required to ensure each build is delivered compliant, on time, within QHSE standards and to customer expectations.

**Responsibilities**
- Experience in the installation of fibre network cabling infrastructures in a variety of building types.
- Fibre cable termination, fibre optic fusion splicing inclusive of testing using the latest network infrastructure test equipment.
- Knowledge of the latest Health & Safety infrastructure construction guidelines, standards, fire safety and asbestos awareness.
- Industry qualification, City & Guilds or BTEC in network data cabling system preferable but not essential.
- An excellent problem solver, you will be proactive, flexible, and creative in your approach to each installation.
- Communicating with external and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of the project and ensure project goals are achieved.
- Excellent time management, coordination skills and able to prioritise workload to meet projects requirements.
- A positive attitude to working on one’s own initiative to achieve project goals.
- Superb written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to undertake specific customer required training and accreditations.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced and ever-changing team environment.

**Key Skills**
- Experience in managing and delivering FTTx build projects within Openreach, and telco operators own networks.
- Experience splicing, testing and fault finding on fibre optic networks Experience of managing teams and effectively managing performance.
- Proven Experience completing 1st and 2nd fix customer installations within a FTTx workstream.
- Experience with blown fibre systems, blown fibre installation and termination.
- Knowledge of Openreach PIA network desirable.
- Experience of MDU network builds
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration ills.
