_**Long Term Cover Supervisor Role**_

Teachers UK are currently working with a Secondary School in the Ashfield area we are looking for a motivated, resilient and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for a long term, full time position at this school. Previous experience within education is desiredhowever similar experiences within different settings will be considered.

The role is to start as soon as possible, until the end of this academic year at least.

A Cover Supervisor’s role is to support classes when the teacher is absent, delivering set work and managing the behaviour of students. A Cover Supervisor is the leader of the classroom, there to take charge and keep the students on task - but are not classedas a teacher.

Typical School hours are anywhere between 08:00-15:30 with part days, mornings and afternoons available. Please speak with your consultant regarding the hours you can work and we will find something suited to your needs.

**What you’ll need**:

- At least 6 weeks experience working with Secondary aged students, in either a school environment or other setting where you were responsible for groups of children
- Confidence, proactivity, patience and punctuality
- Have an enhanced DBS that is registered on the DBS update service or be prepared to undertake a new one through Teachers UK.
