We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our customer sites and we are looking for a customer centric, commercially orientated person to be our Account Manager.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the overall direction, business development, growth and management of the assigned account. This includes profitable sales, cost savings initiatives, customer relationship management, andpurchasing of items not supplied from stock.
This requires you to be operationally empathetic whilst also looking for commercially beneficial value add propositions for the customer.
This is a great opportunity for a salesperson with a background in industrial B2B selling or someone with procurement/buying experience in heavy industry.
Commercially orientated, you will develop relationships with relevant stakeholders including engineering managers, procurement managers and facilities managers whilst also identifying and executing opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement forBrammer Buck and Hickman.
In an ideal world it would be great for you to have knowledge of our products and services, but this isn’t essential. What is important is that you have experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment in an operational or commercial role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Principle onsite interface with the customer; develops onsite relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the site based team, driving compliance to processes and procedures ensuring consistent delivery of service to agreed levels
- Achievement of Sales & Margin targets for the assigned site
- Identify and execute opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement through spend consolidation, provision of additional services etc.
- Ensure cost saving opportunities are identified and deliver at least the contracted annual cost savings through technical solutions
- Develop a program for regular site involvement from Brammer technical specialists & key strategic Brammer suppliers to enhance reliability, performance and achieve cost saving targets
- Where appropriate, maintenance of Brammer owned consignment stock in a saleable condition, retaining traceability and agreed min/max levels
- Monthly Reporting both internally and to the customer
- Daily contact with customer engineering team through attendance at morning meetings or similar ensuring that the customer is provided with current status for urgent requirements
- Compliance with both Brammer and customer Health & Safety requirements. Ensure that housekeeping of the assigned area or facilities is maintained to the required standards

- Commercially astute to identify opportunities for spend consolidation and cost savings for the customer.
