**Salary - £28,000 - £35,000**

**Work Pattern - Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office initial, dropping to two once settled in.**

**The Company**

We are just kicking off the search for a Junior BI Developer for a family-owned business in Manchester who have had some great growth in the last couple of years. The have multiple arms to their business and a huge amount of assets, all of which are ownedoutright. They are continually investing in the business and putting profits back in to facilitate further growth and better products and service for their customers.

The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with an initial 3 days a week in the office. As you become embedded into the company there would be option to reduce that down to 2 days a week in the office.

There is plenty of training and development available within this position. We can consider a graduate for this role, but you must have some experience with SQL (writing queries, joins, etc.) either from a project or dissertation. Or we can consider someonewith some experience who is looking to kick on their development and work with some complex systems.

**The Role**

They are users of the MS BI Technology Stack, SSIS for ETL Processes. SSRS for Internal Reports. They do also have some Tableau within the business, and this is used for external or client reports. They are also going through some updates and enhancementsto their data systems and are open to using other tools and systems in the future if its something you would champion.

**Responsibilities**
- Help in transforming the way the data is used and insights are derived within the organisation.
- Provide support to the team across the range of the Business Intelligence infrastructure and systems in use, as well as developmental expertise.
- Work with the BI team to develop tools which allow rapid access to information.
- Help the development of Business Intelligence solutions which provide a single, consistent and comprehensive view of performance.
- Promote the use of Business Intelligence tools and support and encourage colleagues in how they can be used to improve services.
- Development of the data systems, find improvements and optimise
- Design and Development of ETL processes using SSIS (can be trained)
- Production of reporting solutions, both internal and client facing. (can be trained)

**Requirements**:

- SQL - we are looking for good programming skills.
- SSIS / ETL - you will be using SSIS, so some experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience with a reporting tool - PowerBI / Tableau / SSRS - you will be writing reports, so some experience is highly advantageous.
