Job description
Global Justice Now is looking for a campaigns officer to join our team. The job will be split between campaign support and facilitating parliamentary engagement, with some admin work. It is not necessary to have prior parliamentary experience, as this can be developed when in the role.
You will play a broad support role for one of our campaigns, initially on our pharmaceutical campaign. Big pharma ignores diseases which won’t make them huge profits, meaning millions of people suffer from preventable illnesses each year. We’re campaigning to change the system and to put people’s lives before profit. You’ll be helping with supporting, implementing, communicating and researching the campaign.
You will also have a particular role in facilitating parliamentary engagement for all of our campaigns, helping them be effective whenever parliament is the focus.
You will need some experience in campaigning, whether in a paid, activist or volunteer capacity. We’re also looking for some skills in event organisation, writing, admin and a strong commitment to Global Justice Now’s values.

**Fixed term**: 2 years
**Full or part-time** (5 or 4 days a week)
**Salary**: £32,964 pa (£26,371 pro rata for 4 days)
**Location**: Based in our London office, with some working from home if wished
