Sheet Metal Worker

**SHEET METAL WORKER**

Mon to Friday 8am till 4-30pm. 40 Hours at standard rate and overtime at time and a third. Saturday overtime will be based on time and a half.

Holidays are 20 days plus bank holidays but after 2 years service your holiday will be increased to 23 days plus bank holidays.

Sheet Metal Salary: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Press Brake Operator: 1 year (required)
- Sheet Metal
- Metalworking Machine Operators: 1 year (preferred)

They have a highly qualified and motivated workforce have extensive industry and manufacturing knowledge and have the capacity to accommodate both small batch orders and high volume production.

Due to significant growth, they now have vacancies for skilled, semi-skilled and trainee sheetmetal workers.
- Experience in programming, setting and operating Amada, Bystronic CNC break-press or any other CNC break-presses.
- Have a good understanding of sheet metal work processes and fabrication techniques
- Have hands on abilities in machine running.

**Main duties of the role**:

- Have a full understanding of Sheet Metal and reading technical engineering drawings, thoroughly understanding the flat pattern layout.

Confidence in working well with others in a team related environment with an efficient and timely manner.
