**Lead Microfluidics Engineer (Medical Devices, Sensors, Diagnostics)** **Oxford** **To £50k** Medical devices start-up in Oxford is developing a microfluidics / sensors device and are seeking a Lead Engineer for the development of their microfluidics technology and sensor development programme to take their product from the current version whichis beginning hospital trials, to a production version in the next 18 months. - They are a point-of-care diagnostics company for organ transplants combining a bedside bioanalytical system with artificial intelligence to enable the continuous and real-time monitoring of patient organ function for the first time in clinical practice. - Their microsensor array provides highly accurate continuous real-time assay of functional biomarkers. - Machine learning allows for predictive insights into both pre-implantation donor organ function and point-of-care monitoring in the critical early post-transplantation period. - This role would be the first hire into the company and is a key role with substantial responsibility for taking the current prototype product forward into "real world" development.
