**About the role**

Working as part of the Day Warehouse team, this role will support with the upkeep of the Side Yard to ensure standards are met across the site and to allow for an effective operation. You will work to continually improve standards and look for ways to take us to the next level.

**What you will do**:

- Cleaning within the warehouse, food preparation and external areas.
- Assist with all aspects of site maintenance and cleaning as required.
- Organising and arranging the Yard area.
- Use of specialist equipment to undertake deep cleaning around the site, including food production areas.
- Use of compactors / balers for recycling of cardboard and plastic.
- Use of jet wash for cleaning of effluent treatment works.
- Assisting the Maintenance Technicians as required.
- Assisting with ongoing projects, specific hygiene tasks and operations within the business.

**What you will need**:

- Self-driven with the ability to work under your own initiative.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team as required.
- Great communication skills and be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst having a good eye for detail.
