We’re Independence Matters, a provider of adult care services in Norfolk. Our mission is to empower individuals, their families, and carers, to live the lives they choose and remain independent. Covering the whole of Norfolk, we provide support opportunitiesin the home and in the community for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, young people in transition and those living with dementia.

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Holt Community Hub service for a Business Support Officer to join our team. The role involves a variety of activities, the holder is required to plan and manage the workload, prioritising tasks and ensure confidentialityis maintained. With a flexible working approach to provide support as required across different teams and sites.

It is desirable you hold a full UK driving licence alongside full business insurance to use your vehicle for work.

**What does a Business Support Officer do?**

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

- Maintain records and efficient filing systems
- Raise and check invoices/claims and prepare for authorisation and payment
- Populate and maintain spreadsheets and databases
- Complete of documents required to deliver and maintain statutory and non-statutory processes
- Preparing letters, using mail merge as require
- Support the management teams in ensuring data on the care monitoring system is up to date and accurate
- Monitor, collate and coordinate information and the production of reports
- Assist management in monitoring and checking budgetary records and reconcile bank statements, including administration of petty cash and other accounts
- Produce statistics and other management information
- Arrange, attend, minute meetings, compiling agendas and undertaking associated administrative work and follow up actions
- Monitor and maintain inventories of equipment, supplies and stock
