**JOB TITLE**:Despatch and Assembly Operative**

**REPORTING TO**:Warehouse Manager

**JOB PURPOSE**:Provide a well organised service for incoming goods, storage and despatch, encompassing speed, accuracy and security.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Offloading of incoming goods and checking of these goods against delivery dockets and Hill Engineering Specification (basic quality and specification checks to be carried out) to ensure order requirements are met in terms of quantity, quality and specification.
- Inform Purchasing Department of any discrepancies in Quantity, Specification, and Quality.
- Assist in final assembly department to assemble and test finished product to required quality standard.
- Issuing of parts to Production as required
- Building Kits as required for Customer Orders and Stock requirements as per Company procedures
- Packing of Parts for Customer Orders as per Company procedures
- Packing and Loading of Finished Goods as per Company procedures
- Design of loading arrangements for full trailer shipments
- Carry out periodic Stock Takes and Cycle Counts as required and carry out follow up checks and/or recounts as required.
- Assist with any queries from other Departments
- In conjunction with the Quality Manager ensure all Health & Safety systems and standards relevant to your department/function are adhered to and drive commitment to a safe working environment with a high standard of general housekeeping
- Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the warehouse manager Manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
