**SALARY**:£10.82 - £12.85 per Hour

**JOB TYPE**:Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**:35 hours per week/ 5 days per week

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sports Coach / Primary PE Teacher / Fitness Instructor who has previous experience and knowledge of working with children and young people with a passion for sport and getting kids active.

Working as a Sports Coach / Primary PE Teacher / Fitness Instructor you will be delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time and also deliver a range of extra-curricular activities before school, atlunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.

As a Sports Coach / Primary PE Teacher / Fitness Instructor you will follow the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study whilst developing your own session plans which gives you full control over your own coaching style.

As a Sports Coach / Primary PE Teacher / Fitness Instructor the company offers a variety of hours to suit your other commitments. Predominately this role currently consists of Breakfast Clubs and/or After School Clubs. However the opportunity for additionalhours are regularly available especially during School Holidays.

**DUTIES**
- Plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programmes
- Set up and deliver high quality sports provision to children and young people
- Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
- Produce accurate assessments and reports on children and young people’s progress

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Recognised NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate or equivalent or above [Essential]
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check and be deemed safe to work with children [Essential]
- Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people [Essential]
- Competent in literacy and numeracy to GCSE/Level 2 standard or equivalent [Essential]
- Child Protection / Safeguarding Certificate [Desirable]
- Knowledge of the school PE National Curriculum [Desirable]
- Member of the Children’s Activity Professionals Register (CAPRE) [Desirable]
- First Aid Certificate [Desirable]
