Quality and Health & Safety Assistant - £36k pa - Coventry - Manufacturing
The Role
We are looking for a Quality and Health & Safety Assistant for a manufacturing company specialising in the automotive industry who are looking to expand their team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that quality process controls are properly engineered, based on ISO:9001 rules, Customer Specific Requirements and PFMEA results. CMM full programming capability is expected as well as having the ability to interpret and understand specific customer quality standards and requirements.
Being able to perform internal risk assessments including both general & COSHH as well as performing audits with knowledge of Health & Safety management requirements applicable with a precision engineering environment.
The Person
You will be experienced in quality control in the automotive industry along with health & safety, particularly on machined components and will be able to CMM programme using QCT software, online and offline. Also be required to ensure health surveillance is performed as required as well as assist in training employees
HNC/HND with elements on mechanical and quality qualifications is necessary
