Page Personnel are seeking a Graduate Finance Assistant to join a well-established business in Middleton. Ideally suited for someone who would like CIMA funding and lots of progression opportunities. Offering hybrid working and up to £25K salary.

**Client Details**

Our client is a well-established business in Middleton. Due to constant growth they are looking for a Graduate Finance Assistant to join their finance team. Offering hybrid working and lots of progress opportunities.

**Description**

**Your duties will include, but not restricted to**:

- Daily bank reconciliations
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations pack preparation, including variance investigation and analysis. Ensuring reconciling items are resolved within an appropriate time frame through collaboration with other finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Manage the company's fixed asset register, processing deprecation, reconciliations and monthly fixed asset note preparations.
- Assist with various month end procedures and reconciliations, adhering to strict deadlines
- Assist with weekly reporting to strict deadlines.
- Process monthly expenses for the business, liaising directly with employees with any queries.
- Provide cover for bank transactions and sales ledger as well as support within wider finance team
- Processing the company credit card transactions and managing the process.
- Assisting the management accountant with day-to-day tasks
- Managing the business deposits
- Working with the property team to manage electricity and gas suppliers
- Assist with ad hoc year end work including audit queries
- Significant ad-hoc work as assigned

**Profile**

**To be considered for this role**:

- 2.1 or above at degree level with strong A-Levels
- Ability to prioritise workloads and achieve tight deadlines working in a high pressure environment
- Excellent IT literacy, ideally with strong excel skills
- Able to use own initiate and drive continuous improvements
- Able to communicate with finance and non-finance colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible within the role
- Manage high volumes of transactions
- Understanding of accounting principles (desirable)
