**Functional Skills Coach**

Pertemps Work Based Learning are excited to be working in partnership with a great company who are looking to bring on a Functional Skills Coach.
We are looking for an experienced Functional Skills Coach to support learners going through various apprenticeships. The coach will support learners who are looking to achieve their Functional Skills qualification prior to completion of their apprenticeship.
- £24,000- Based in Sunderland- 28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays and Christmas Off- Pension Contribution- Onsite Parking- Promotion of CPD within company.**Experience and Knowledge required for the Functional Skills Coach**
- Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g., Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent.- Assessor’s Award or equivalent is desirable.- Previous experience of delivering Functional Skills in Maths and English- Proven track record of successfully guiding learners towards completion in Functional Skills qualifications.**Duties and Responsibilities of the Functional Skills Coach**
- Delivering training and coaching sessions to small groups of learners or on a one-to-one basis in Functional Skills, Maths and English.- Actively support, mentor and motivate learners through their journey to help with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification.- Provide insightful and constructive feedback to help the learners maximise their potential.- Deliver outstanding learning, using creative learning strategies that will help inspire students and reach their full potential.- Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met, and that the learner has an outstanding experience.This position is being managed by Emily Purdie at Pertemps Work Based Learning and Skills Division.
