Profile
My client is looking for a multi skilled engineer, mechanical bias or electrical bias. You should be a good team player, as well as a competent and pragmatic decision maker for when you are working independently. My client is looking for someone with experiencein responding to breakdowns, PPM's, continuous improvement and knowledge of TPM. You should have experience in working in a Food/FMCG/Packaging environment.
The Role
As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for reacting to breakdowns and maintenance during production, as well as using your time effectively to ensure all PPM's are dealt with. You will be part of an experienced Multi-Skilled team of engineers,and so you should have excellent interpersonal as well as good communicative skills. You will also be expected to work on your own initiative and so you will need to be an innovative problem solver.
