Major Loss Claims Handler

A Global Insurance Company is recruiting for a Large Loss Claims Handler to join their growing and expanding team in Manchester.
You will be joining the Major Loss Team in which you will have your own caseload of files in excess of £1million in value. You will be dealing with a variety of cases from Motor Personal Injury and/or Employers and Public Liability claims and will be requiredto investigate, negotiate and settle cases within your authority limit up to 5million.
Main Duties include:
- Pro-actively manage a personal case load of large loss motor and or casualty claims.
- Undertake early investigations, accurately determining liability by optimising the use of our internal investigators and panel lawyers.
- Build strong relationship with brokers whilst ensuring that their customers remain at the heart of our proposition, supporting them throughout the claims process.
To be considered, you must have experience in handling Large Loss Motor Personal Injury and/or Employers and Public Liability claims with a value of up to 5million. You will be required to have a good knowledge of multi-track claims management across variousjurisdictions as well as having experience of cases going to trial.
