**Behaviour Mentor (School mental health assistant)**

**Are you someone who has a calm, caring and patient professional approach to managing challenging behaviour?**

Now Education is currently **working closely **with a variety of **developing special schools** in **Cardiff **with their **staffing **needs. There is a huge **focus **on rapidly **improving **these schools and **development **of their **student's **and **learning**.

This role would be perfect for people with experience of working within **mental health**, **residential homes**, **PCSO’s**, **sport’s coaches**, **experienced teaching assistants** and **ALN specialist**s.
- Have experience with **ASD **(Autism), **SEBD **(Social and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) and **SEMH **(Social and Emotional Mental Health)
- Want to work within **ALN **(Additional Learning Needs).
- Enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated.
- Be patient, compassionate, consistent and understanding towards students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills too work effectively with staff and students.
- Be available 5 days per week.
