A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Junior Buyer/Purchasing Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm Friday 8:15am - 4:45pm with every other Friday off. Paying between £25,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Your key duties in this Junior Buyer/Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to**:

- Negotiating price conditions with suppliers for direct materials and components.
- Identifying and developing new suppliers, materials, and technologies.
- Collaborating with Engineering for supplier development.
- Report on KPIs.
- Seek out new methods of purchasing.
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure supplier performance is in line with contracted terms.
- Prepare contractual agreements and terms of supply.
- Keeping up to date with market trends.

**Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- MS Office Skills essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Organised and able to prioritise.
- Purchasing and Procurement experience.
