Deputy Nursing Home Manager

Deputy Nursing Home Manager (Clinical Lead) required for a successful nursing home in Wiltshire.

This private nursing home is large and is Good rated with CQC and providing high quality of care including a specialist dementia care unit. The home is aimed at the self funding market.

The home is one of a number of private care homes owned by this award winning and highly regarded provider. The group is run by a fantastic senior leadership team, with lots of experience and knowledge.

Reporting into the General Manager you will:

- Act as the Clinical Lead within the home
- To oversee to medication provision to residents in the home
- Participate in staff recruitment
- Staff performance management
- To carry out training sessions as required and ensure development opportunities for all staff members as required.
- You will be particularly focussed on ensuring clinical governance is adhered to and that all nursing practices are evidence-based and reflect current best practice.
- An active NMC registration
- Previous experience within a nursing home setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, motivate and manage a large team of staff.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills, with a good eye for detail

Contract, Remuneration and benefits:

- c£45,000 - £50,000 pa neg DOSE
- Some weekend working is required
