Teaching and Learning Assistant

This advert is for three full time Teaching and Learning Assistants. This role is based at Sybil Elgar School, Southall.At the National Autistic Society, we have developed our education offer into a diverse network of independent schools and programmes which are relied upon by hundreds of people across the UK. We provide a wide range of services to support autistic children and young people. We improve and enhance education, care and experiences to help autistic children and young people fulfil their potential.**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for an individual who have a passion to work in an organisation that specialises in autism, supporting autistic children and adults on the autism spectrum to live the lives they choose. This role is based in our school, the main part of your role will be to support our pupils during the day.

- Good listener, able to report and record information accurately
- Team player and able to work independently with little support as required
- Resilient, able to work proactively with challenging behaviour
- Willing and able to provide personal care to individuals as required

**You may also have**:

- a personal connection to autism or a desire to work with people with autism
- real life experience supporting autistic adults or children with autism in a paid or voluntary capacity
