Contract Day Rate: £700-800pd *total to Umbrella PAYE
Hybrid ? Central London / WFH**

Are you a Java Developer working within the banking sector, and seeking a new hybrid role based in London? Our client is looking for 2x Senior Java Developers, and the role comes with an attractive contract rate. One Developer will join the CDS (credit defaultswap) team and the other will work on their current migration project to public cloud (AWS).

In the first few weeks in this Java Developer role, you can expect to:
?Work closely with business teams to deliver projects aimed at facilitating the clearing of new product types, new business opportunities with innovative platform extensions or simplifying the overall architecture.

?Own the delivery of business requirements through to test and production release

?Collaborate on key design decisions for the platform build out to meet business? goals

?Third line system support

?Demonstrable enterprise software engineering with an understanding of working in a secure and regulated environment

?Passion for following DevOps and CI/CD processes to deliver high-quality and well-tested software using frameworks such as Jenkins, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber etc

?Knowledge of migrating to public cloud (AWS) or similar, or have experience in credit derivatives / swaps / trade products, depending on which role you are aligned to.
