**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent guest service.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the POS system with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and condiments.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Follow food safety procedures diligently during food preparation and service.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in serving or barista roles is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with good time management skills to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
