**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook fish and chips to the highest standards, adhering to our recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required, ensuring all food is prepared safely and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining quality standards.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with a keen interest in culinary arts.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
