**Job Summary**:
We are recruiting passionate and proactive LSAs for a special needs provision based in the Mansfield and Nottingham area. The role involves supporting pupils aged 5 to 16 with special needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and speech, language, and communication needs. LSAs will help pupils develop resilience, respect, and confidence to reach their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide general support to pupils
- Work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Deliver work set by the Teacher
- Engage and support pupils in a collaborative and holistic manner
- Ensure health & safety, EDI, and safeguarding standards are met
- Travel between sites to support and engage with pupils
**Required Qualifications**:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Unqualified Teaching Assistant
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Resilient and confident
- Experience in providing one-to-one support
- Access to a car with business insurance
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time or part-time (minimum of three days) during term time only
- Maximum of 30 hours per week (full time)
- Hours: 8.45-3.15/30pm, Monday to Friday
- 39 working weeks per year
