We are seeking an outstanding individual to become the Programme's Content Creator and Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Corporate Communications, the Content Creator and Social Media Manager will be instrumental in using our channels to tell the story of the Restoration and Renewal Programme and engaging with our audience.

The Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Programme has been established to tackle the significant work that needs to be done to protect and preserve the heritage of the Palace of Westminster and ensure it can continue to serve as home to the UK Parliament in the 21st century. This is an enormous and unprecedented undertaking, which is expected to be the most complex renovation programme of any single building the UK has ever seen.

The Sponsor Body for the works is being brought into Parliament to form a new joint department, the R&R Client Team, able to engage closely with political and Parliamentary stakeholders to articulate the case and requirements, and oversee the arms-length Delivery Authority's work.

We are seeking an outstanding individual to become the Programme's Content Creator and Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Corporate Communications, the Content Creator and Social Media Manager will be instrumental in using our channels to tell the story of the Restoration and Renewal Programme and engaging with our audience.

You will lead and develop our content creation strategy for the Programme, manage the R&R digital channels and website and oversee all social media initiatives. You will have experience in creating engaging and meaningful content and leading communication campaigns, ideally within the Government sector. Equally, you will have clear organisation and project management skills, with the ability to drive forward and deliver ambitious programme of engagement activities to tight deadlines, working collaboratively with a range of internal teams.

- Contract type: Fixed term
- Duration: 3 years, _with the possibility of an extension _
- 30 days annual leave entitlement
- Salary _circa _£56,000 per annum

The Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal Programme has been set up to tackle all the work necessary to protect and preserve this UNESCO World Heritage site. It will be the biggest renovation of an historic building ever undertaken in the UK.
