Job description
We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for our world-leading, family-owned recycling client in MINWORTH, B76.
This is a PERMANENT POSITION following a successful interview.
Hours of work:
06:00-14:30/13:30-22:00 (rotating)
40 hours paid per week (overtime available)
Pay
£27,000pa (£12.98ph)
Days of work:
Monday to Friday

The role:

- Working within a team operating cable recycling machinery
- Setting,adjusting and replacing machine cutting heads
- Monitoring machinery output
- Routine maintenance
- Helping to develop new processes and procedures
- Complying with Health & Safety rules
- General housekeeping as required
- There is also the opportunity to learn new skills and progress throughout the business
- Training provided
- PPE and workwear provided

Required:

- Machine setting and operating experience (this is a bespoke machine so we are looking for someone with mechanical machine maintenance/fitting experience (or similar) - training will be provided)
- Physically fit (although not heavy, there is some lifting work involved)
- NOTE: The environment is noisy (full ear protection provided)
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and be available for occasional overtime
- Ability to work as part of a team
