**About the job area**:
We provide a range of health insurance options which can give customers access to diagnosis, treatment and specialist support services. **Role overview**:
This is a busy and dynamic team taking calls from internal agents and members to discuss eligibility and provide a range of health insurance options which can give customers access to diagnosis, treatment and specialist support services. The benefits available to our customers include; access to Bupa-approved consultants, breakthrough treatment and drugs, our 24/7 Anytime HealthLine and cancer cover that comes with the Bupa cancer promise.
**What you'll do**:
- Speak with members over the phone who wish to make claims in the early stages of membership also assessing medical reports and liaising with healthcare professionals to establish eligibility in line with underwriting terms.
- Obtain all relevant medical information required to evaluate a correct outcome.
- Servicing members at different stages of their claiming journey where medical assessment involvement is required and communicate the decision to the member in a clear and concise manner.
**What you'll bring**:
- Previous experience of working in a busy customer service environment with strong customer focus skills.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to identify and analyse sources of data to make sound decisions and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy on sensitive medical issues.
- Proficient key board skills with an ability to navigate PC systems
- A good telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage time effectively.
