- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial information, adhering to deadlines, including;
- Extract, analyse and circulate monthly Sales and Debtor figures
- Monthly Management figures to the Executive Board by the 10 day of the month
- Annual accounts files for submission to Accountants and liaise
- Other tasks which may arise suitable to your skill set and ability
- Daily cashup and Xero Bank Reconciliation including posting payments and receipts and analysis where necessary. Prepare cash for banking.
- Run VetIT(Practice Management System) Invoices and Statements alternate months, including reconciliation of receipts and payments.
- Provide cover for financial tasks in the absence Accounts team members
- Check Purchase Ledger invoices; ensure all invoices have been checked by relevant departments; scan to Dext and process through Xero. Check to monthly Supplier statements and follow up any discrepancies. Prepare bi-monthly payment schedules, for payment via BACS. Prepare cheques and send remittances as required.
- Check and analyse Company Credit Cards statements monthly, check receipts and chase any missing receipts. Process through Dext and reconcile in Xero.
- Process new farm direct debits & make changes where necessary. Input monthly farm direct debits payments. Assist with PetProtect memberships and cancellations. Support Horse Health Plan memberships. Process Health Plan Reconciliations on VetIT for Small Animal & Equine.
- Provide support to Directors, Executive and Management Board on any finance related matters, producing adhoc reports as required
- Prepare & process monthly payroll figures for Paragonvet Ltd using Sage Payroll:

- Handle HMRC correspondence & Administer Auto Enrolment Pension Schemes
- Calculate business and private mileage, expenses and additional payments
- Import payments onto bankline, prepare salary journal & analyse accordingly
- Process Dividend payments
- Manage benefits in kind through payroll and submit P11D annual form to HMRC
- HR Support to include calculation of annual leave for all members of staff

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
