The Talent Set are excited to be partnering with Diabetes UK to find 3 new Community Fundraisers.

This a full-time role offering a starting salary of circa £27k (increasing to circa £30k after successful completion of 6 month probationary period) with a primarily remote working pattern, with quarterly travel to in person team meetings within their designatedarea.

The goal of this position is to increase the contributions of individuals, groups and companies by developing and maintaining relationships with existing supporters. You will also be responsible for exploring new fundraising opportunities and inspiring morepeople to raise money for Diabetes UK.

There are 3 positions available for this role dependent on the location of work:
x1 will either cover the South Central or South East Region dependent on preferred location.

x1 based in Scotland (Eastern)

x1 based in the Northeast and Yorkshire

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage supporter relationships with a value of £1K+ to maximise potential income growth and other opportunities
- Participate in cross-charity networking and working groups to ensure we are ahead of the curve and benefitting from sector knowledge and trends
- Be proactive in your region with fundraising approaches and opportunities as they arise
- Tailor and write communications for a variety of audiences, including volunteers, corporates, schools and community groups
- Present to a variety of audiences both face-to-face and virtually
- Provide an exceptional level of supporter care, resulting in long-term relationships with Diabetes UK
- Participate in project groups and workstreams to ensure your work at a regional level aligns to the Community Fundraising and Organisational strategies
- Form positive relationships with Regional and National teams and Volunteering teams to promote regional fundraising initiatives and encourage collaboration
- Keep abreast of community and sector trends, as you’re your own local opportunities
