Undertake market research and engagement to establish best in class procurement strategies involving national and/or regional public sector frameworks, undertaking further competitions or more formal procurement tenders for bespoke projects. Conduct tender/post tender clarifications, final negotiations, draft acceptance letters, contract documentation and debriefing suppliers, with support as necessary.

Prepare project briefs/business cases and seek approval from either Panel or the Head of Procurement, outlining the proposed procurement strategy and rationale including compliance and evaluation methodology, whilst ensuring adequate resource and reporting on procurement timescales. Forecasting demand and providing assurance around the commercial and compliance risks, providing weekly updates to the Head of Procurement.

To work closely with our stakeholders, drafting and developing tender documentation, including specification writing as necessary, and to manage the full tender process through to contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

- To support with the delivery of the procurement strategy which feeds into our Corporate strategy, vision and business objectives.
- To work with our key stakeholders and support the delivery of procurement projects across the business.
- Manage workload efficiently and effectively to ensure procurement timelines are met.
- Monitor the progress and cost of projects to ensure these are in line with forecasts, providing regular reporting to the Head of Procurement.
- Contract management including the collection, analysis, and reporting of key data required in measuring supplier and contract performance against required contractual outcomes e.g. KPIs and service levels, taking appropriate remedial action when performance is unsatisfactory, escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate.
- Ensure that any retrospective rebates and/or Social Value contributions are secured in a timely manner, cost recovery is achieved, and produce reports, as required.
- Participate in collaborative procurement projects with other public sector organisation and partners with support from senior colleagues as appropriate.
- To manage the new supplier on-boarding process ensuring compliance with policy.

Experience, Skills & Behaviours:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working within a similar procurement environment, where you have gained a sound knowledge of public sector frameworks.
- Member of CIPS and ideally CIPS level 4+ qualified
- Ability to quickly build trust and influence at all levels of an organisation
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- An ability to work to organisational deadlines and KPI’s
- Creative and keen to try new ideas and approaches
- Able to build effective relationships with suppliers, and stakeholders always being an advocate for SBHG
- Confident using full Office 365 suite with good knowledge of Adobe suite
- Previous experience of using e-procurement including P2P and Sourcing portals
- Ability to deliver procurement projects on time and within budget

**Salary**: £50,000.00 per year
