**Weekend Van Driver & Warehouse Assistant**

**Location**: London, UK

**Job Type**: Full-time / Part-time (Friday to Monday or Thursday to Monday)

**What is Sharky & George?**

Sharky & George runs awesome and imaginative parties and events for children and adults in and around London and all over the world. There is an office team of 22 and a party team of over 200 freelancers. We average 200 parties per month (130 per week in the busiest months).

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely deliver party supplies & equipment to various events & locations across London.
- Load & unload the van, ensuring all items are properly secured & handled with care.
- Adhere to scheduled delivery times, while adjusting for traffic or other delays as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the van, performing routine checks and reporting any issues.
- Helping prepare kit for bespoke parties and events across London, the UK and across the world
- Provide assistance in setting up or packing down equipment at event sites if required.
- Assist with warehouse tasks during quieter periods, such as stock organisation, inventory management, and preparing items for delivery.
- Communicate effectively with our team & clients, providing excellent service during deliveries and pick-ups.
- Follow all road safety regulations, company policies, and procedures at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid UK driver’s licence (Full Manual preferred) with experience driving vans in London. (Five penalty points of less)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Familiarity with London's road network and ability to navigate using GPS
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and early/late shifts when required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience delivering event or party supplies.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Calm under pressure and good at thinking on your feet (Problem Solving)
- Great eye for presentation of equipment
- Proactive and always willing to lend a hand

Salary Range based on 5 day working week**:£22k-26k** (prorated if over four days)

The position can be four days or five days per week either from Friday to Monday or Thursday to Monday. Salary based on experience with quarterly Juno rewards. You would be joining a totally awesome team with a vast stash of chocolate
