Control Panel Builder

Are you looking to take on a newelectrical control panel building role with a nationally respected engineering firm? Would you like to enjoy the trust of your employer to work independently and pro-actively? Our Malvern based client is looking to recruita new Control Panel Builder/Fitter due to a period of growth.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team working on wiring control panels and using a wide range of equipment designed for automotive testing. You’ll be using your skills in reading Bill of Materials and schematic drawings to ensure that all electrical and mechanicalwiring is completed safely and to a high standard.
You’ll be free to work independently from oversight, as the team you’ll be joining enjoy peer-to-peer support rather than direct management. You’ll be using your experience in panel building and machine wiring to ensure that products are delivered to the agreedtimescale and to a high quality.
To succeed in this role you will be:

- be able to interpret electrical drawings
- have sound experience of panel building and machine wiring
- Understanding of the following standards BS7671, BS EN 60204-1:2018, and EN13849
- Have a demonstrable ability to manage personal workload while striving to improve yourself and gain technical skills.
