Picker & Packer

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Accurately pack products according to specifications and ensure they are ready for dispatch.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
- Assist with picking and packing orders, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and organised.
- Handle materials safely, adhering to all safety protocols while loading and unloading goods.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all packed items meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and improve workflow.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating packing equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control purposes.
- Strong organisational skills to manage stock effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the warehouse.

**Working hours: Sunday - Friday, shifts between 8am until 5.30pm**
