Credit Control is a central and important part of any business, and this role is no exception. Working within a developing business, the Credit Controller will ensure customer invoices are paid, identify common payment trends and focus on providing a high qualityof service.

The Credit Controller will take ownership of accounts, resolve queries and provide a continuous audit and analysis of ongoing trends and credit limits.
- Manage accounts and reconciliation ensuring adherence to credit terms
- Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are received and accurate
- Make recommendations for legal action to collect monies owed if necessary
- Proactive contact with clients to ensure they are kept up to date with any issues or changes
- Ensure notes and actions are clearly recorded in the credit control system
- Personally ensure that clients are kept up to date on issues, exceptions, or change
- Raise & process credit requests
As a Credit Controller, you will have experience working within Credit Control and be confident with handling sensitive conversations with customers and clients.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and other IT packages
- Strong customer service experience with excellent communication skills and problem solving
- Methodical, organised and inquisitive approach to work
- Self-motivated with a positive and sociable mindset
This role is based close to Macclesfield and is commutable from Biddulph, Congleton, Crewe, Kidsgrove, Talke and Newcastle.
