We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join the business. The Apprenticeship will be undertaken with a training provider gaining a qualification in Business Administration.

The role will initially commence in the IT department before gaining experience in a number of the different administration departments to gain a full understanding of each area.

**Desired skills**:

- Confident in Excel/Word
- Understanding of an office environment
- Confident on the phone
- Interested in working in the glass industry

**Personal qualities**:

- A desire to want to grow with the company and provide outstanding customer service.
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Able to work using their own initiative and as part of a team to achieve results.
- Drive, determination, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication skills.

Initially starting in our IT Dept and then looking at Sales along with other business areas.

**Day-to-day tasks**:

- Tasks can vary depending user/ company requirements but these are some common basic tasks:

- Assist with guest IT support.
- Assist with procurement of IT equipment. Such as dealing with suppliers acquiring quotes. Assistance maintaining stock of regular use items.
- Assistance with provisioning new desktops and laptops.
- Assistance with provisioning smartphones.
- Assistance with lifting and moving equipment (printers, monitors, desktops, items for WEEE disposal).
- Assist with future rollouts. Example: domain migration, Intune
- Better IT information for users (support documents, useful information. How to provide better quality information in tickets to enable quicker solutions).
- Basic IT cover for holidays.

**Salary**:£16,500.00 per year
