- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of Pay - £10.50 per hour
- Hours of Work - 30 hours per week
- Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- **The Role**:_

We currently have an opportunity for a friendly and reliable person to join our team as a Catering Assistant. This position is based in the kitchen at The Grange within Buckshaw Retirement Village located between Leyland & Chorley and is to work 30 hours per week.

As a member of our catering and hospitality team, you will work in the kitchen producing a high-quality food and beverage service to residents of The Grange & Court and visitors to the onsite bistro. You will work with your colleagues, under the direction of Catering Manager with the support of our Hospitality Assistants to deliver hot, fresh food to our residents.

As a Catering Assistant you will:

- Play a key role in ensuring our residents and visitors receive a high-quality food and beverage service within the Bistro or if required delivered to their apartment.
- Work with the Catering Manager and Chef to plan menus in line with dietary requirements and personal preferences.
- Be given training in food safety, health & safety legislation and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Work in cooperation with the hospitality and care teams to ensure that food and drinks are delivered to residents and visitors both within the Bistro and to individual apartments where required.
