**Data Analyst - Cloud**

We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst with Cloud Migration experience to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract currently remote working.

This position is**Inside IR35.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Documentation of Folder & Application locations (Inventory)
- Categorization of data to support the pre-agreed disposition/migration strategies
- Working with the business to identify data owners for unclaimed Group File shares
- Generating reports to track progress and to identify uncategorized data
- Analyse the non-structured data.
- Ability or proven history of interacting with various teams across global regions
- To draw logical conclusions against disparate file system or configuration information using contextual indicators from file system attributes, active directory and verbal/written data ownership queries
- Working with the business to understand current working practices and mechanics for moving files to Share Point or alternative platforms
- Working with IT to flag Permission issues and raise ServiceNow tickets where required

**Experience / Skills**:

- Strong Excel skills, knowledge of reporting within Power BI
- Cloud / Azure experience
- Able to work with large data-sets, breaking these down to derive conclusions and to develop approaches to deliver project goals
- Able to work with tools (e.g. Varonis) to identify business usage trends and allocate folders
