**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for an experienced product professional to join our supportive and vibrant Digital Product Team as Head of Product - Digital Solutions in our English Language Teaching (ELT) Division.

The Digital Product team in the Product function is accountable for the planning, development and delivery of digital products, platforms and services for the ELT Division. The Digital Product team is responsible for ensuring ELT’s digital offerings support the overall product offer, and for ensuring the ongoing smooth operational running of the division’s digital product, platforms and services. The Digital Product Team works closely with other teams within product, including content, learner progress and analytics, customer insight and assessment. The Digital Product Team also works closely with other functions within the division, particularly sales, marketing and customer support, as well as group Technology and Operations functions.

The Head of Digital Product - Digital Solutions leads the Digital Solutions sub-team, who are responsible for maintaining close connections with content, sales and marketing, working side by side on strategy and planning, and helping to identify the best approach for delivering customer value via digital solutions. This could involve prioritizing work on the backlog of the other two sub teams (Digital Platform and Digital Services), identifying a suitable third-party vendor, commissioning in-house development, or re-positioning existing assets and services. The Head of Digital Product - Digital Solutions will need to develop strong relationships with the senior management teams across the ELT Division, in particular with Content, Assessment and regional leads, and will play a key role in informing strategy and identifying the right types of products and services closely mapped to customer needs and market opportunities.

The Head of Digital Product - Digital Solutions will lead several squads comprised of Product Managers, Product Designers and Business Product Owners who will be grouped by Focus Areas, which will be based on the key objectives for that quarter or year. These squads will work closely with the other two sub-teams within Digital Product, as well as group functions, regional stakeholders, and all departments within the ELT division.

In addition to leading the Digital Solutions sub-team and developing close relationships across the business, the Head of Digital Product - Digital Solutions will also play a key role in the Digital Product management team. They will closely with two other Heads of Digital Product for the Digital Platform and Digital Services sub-teams ensuring that roadmaps for all three sub-teams are aligned and drive forward the overarching strategy of the Digital Product team and the ELT Division. As a management team, the Heads of Digital Product are responsible for communication, process improvement, training and professional development, and management and support of the Digital Product team.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:

- Essential:_
- Proficiency in the end-to-end lifecycle of digital product development, from ideation to launch, including agile methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to align product vision with business goals, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Effective leadership to guide cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and Product Owners.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including content, sales, marketing, and technology teams.
- Experience in creating and executing product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, understanding technical constraints and opportunities.
- Analytical mindset for using data to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and measure success.
- Proactive approach to identifying process improvements and driving innovation within the Digital Solutions sub-team.
- Experience managing product P&L and successful bringing product to market
- Proficiency in lean product methodologies
