**Castleford Pharmacy Dispenser**

**Job Role Description**

**Job role includes**:

- Using the till, serving customers by taking in and helping them to fill in their prescriptions
- Taking care of the shop/dispensary, stock and cleanliness of the area
- Completing the weekly and the end of the day cashing up
- Collecting prescriptions from the doctors surgery and liaising with staff
- Taking messages on the pharmacy phone
- Dispensing duties - using the computers, endorsing, labelling, checking prescriptions, filling and completing dosette boxes, ordering stock and bagging prescriptions
- Helping to take care of the prescription and delivery service
- Helping to manage stock in the dispensary - ordering stock and putting away the orders
- Maintaining high standards and high level of customer service

Set hours: 23.5

**Monday - 8am - 6pm**

**Tuesday**

**Wednesday - 9am - 5pm**

**Thursday**

**Friday - 8am - 3pm**

**Saturday**

Start date
- ASAP

You **MUST** be willing to cover staff holidays and sickness etc. and be **FULLY** flexible with your working hours.

Some weeks you could be required to work **FULL TIME HOURS** including weekends. Opening hours are 8am-6pm Mon to Fri and Sat 9am to 1pm.

Over a length of time then the set hours may increase as we are a growing pharmacy.

Pharmacy Experience Essential

NVQ Level 2 and experience preferred.
