Electronic Design Engineer

Serve Talent are working with a successful manufacturing business to recruit an Electronic Design Engineer for their facility based in Great Yarmouth.

**Key areas of expertise**:
**Embedded Systems**
- STM 32 and PIC 18 controllers
- Embedded firmware development in C / C++ language
- Low level driver development
- Interfacing with sensors and motors

**FPGA Design**
- VHDL programming and IP integration of Xilinx and Microsemi FPGA devices
- Driver development for memory and communication interfaces

**Hardware Design**
- Digital and Analogue circuit design
- Mixed signal multilayer PCB design, ideally using Altium
- Circuit simulation
- Debugging prototype hardware
- Interfacing with Sensors and DC motors
- Battery operated low power systems

**Communication Protocols**
- Ethernet (TCP/IP), RS232, RS485
- SPI, I2C
- Bluetooth Low Energy

**Desired skills, knowledge and experience for our engineering team**:

- Good communication skills
- Observant, inquisitive and have an ability to solve problems
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High standard of written and spoken English
