If you are motivated to help learners to reach their full potential we would love to talk to you about joining our team. The school is looking for flexible, patient and creative **Learning Support Assistants** who are excellent team players and have the ability and confidence to support a young person developing life and living skills.

You will work in an exciting and unique, specialist facility for young adults aged **16-25 **who have severe o**r profound multiple learning difficulties** and / or **complex needs.**

The College provides a **holistic learning** programme for young people which is challenging, relevant and fun to support individual progression and preparation for adulthood. It is specifically aimed at learners with a range of learning and physical disabilities including those with complex medical and therapeutic needs and/or sensory processing difficulties. Some may have additional complex social and behavioural related needs.

You **must** have **previous** **experience** of working within a specialist education setting, in particular working with **post** **16**. A strong understanding of profound learning difficulties and **complex needs** including **ASD** and **behavioural** **management**. It is vital to be a positive role model to students, ensuring they feel encouraged and supported.

This will be a **full time **position, Monday to Friday term time only. Beginning in January if you demonstrate to be an excellent support there will be an opportunity to progress to a **permanent** role.
