A Finance Manager is required for an acquisitive mid-market IT business who can lead and inspire a team while providing reliable MI and insightful analysis to the board across all business areas. You will initially focus on the commercial accounting responsibilitieswith a clearly defined development pathway to Finance Director longer term.
**What will you be doing?**
- Preparation and review of month-end board packs
- Identify and implement improvements within the function
- Co-ordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Partnering with heads of business units to track the performance of gross profit/net profit and working with ways of improving financial performance - Strong commercial involvement
- Liaise with finance heads of group of companies on an ad-hoc basis
- Governance of process flows in and out of the finance function
- Co-ordinate and manage the year-end audit.
- Manage and maintain the financial systems within the business (accounting, stock management, Document Management system)
- Work with the senior finance manager to manage the transactional teams
- Supervise the Contracts Administration team
- Assist in managing, motivating and developing the finance team
**Experience Required**
- A minimum of 5 years post qualified experience - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Strong commercial accounting experience
- Team management experience
- Good system skills (preferably Sage 200 but not essential).
- Good understanding of the objectives and workings of internal financial control.
- Ability to quickly build relationships with external and internal contacts at all levels with confidence.
- Experience in managing finance projects/ implementations
- Deadline orientated
This position is based in West Drayton, close to Heathrow and the company operate a hybrid working policy.
