Financial Controller - Welwyn Garden City (immediate start available)

As a Financial Controller you will be reporting to the CEO regarding all financial and accounting activities.

This will be an integral role within the Accounts Team and you will have direct responsibility of the efforts and results of the financial department, production of management accounts for the business as well as overseeing the daily operations of the financedepartment.

Experience working within the service sector, ideally recruitment is desirable.

What you'll get up to:

- Providing monthly management reports to Executive Board or CEO
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analyse findings
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
- Overseeing daily operations of the Finance team
- Overseeing debt management and collection
- Ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded
- Collating all local purchase invoices
- Preparing weekly summaries of items to be paid for the CEO
- Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasting
- Cash flow management
- Motivate and lead the finance department
- Staying ahead of the trends in terms of systems/software for the finance department and being proactive
- Manage new projects for the finance team

What do we want from you?
- 1 year post qualification or qualified by experience
- 3 years+ management accounts experience
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, (With a focus on Excel)
- Experience on Xero would be beneficial
