**Trade Counter Sales Executive**
**Our client is seeking a Trade Counter Sales Executive to join their Milton Keynes based team.
- **Salary**: up to £30,000 per annum DOE + 10% on target bonus
- **Hours**:8.30am - 5.30pm or 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 12pm every other Saturday
We are interested in speaking to highly motivated, positive, team players who would enjoy working for a company who put the customer at the heart of what they do.
**The job will involve**
- A number of customer facing and administrative tasks within the business
- Serving customers, taking orders and inputting them onto the IT System
- Answering customer telephone calls and assisting customers with their orders and enquiries
- Managing payments taken from the customer and ensuring all internal systems are accurately updated and maintained
- Promoting and developing sales
- Monitoring and following up on quotes
- Dispatching goods and securing future orders
- Completing the customer returns form/process
- Helping re-stock the trade counter to avoid empty shelves
- Making sure the branch trade counter and showrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Developing relationships with staff in branch and other departments/branches
- Working with the branch manager to hit targets and KPI’s
**The Person will**
- Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times
- Have excellent organisation and self-management skills
- Represent the business in a highly professional, trustworthy and impressive manner
- Work hard to ensure the company vision is translated to customers
- Proactively enhance their own product knowledge, keeping abreast of new products
- Be confident completing a high level of administrative task
- Knowledge and compliance with GDPR and PCI will be required
- Previous experience within the flooring industry would be an advantage
Workwear will be supplied along with name badges and must be worn at all times.
