Account Associate - Bournemouth - Salary £25k - £28k DOE

Our client based in Bournemouth is looking for a Account Associate to join the team. You will be assisting the Account Executives & Account Directors in providing a quality service, meeting client demands and support a book of new clients.

This working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on a hybrid working pattern.

Main responsibilities:

- Assist the team to run client, prospect and introducer relationships to help grow the existing accounts
- Negotiate with insurers to retrieve terms that reflect the customers requirements
- Ensure workload is handled correctly to service client relationships and placements are completed within deadlines
- Keep all client data and information up to date
- Learn how to establish and handle a sales pipeline of potential clients whilst building a pipeline of opportunities that lead to sales
- Assist the team with plans and forecasts on customer performance
- Analyse sales data to identify unexpected patterns and trends
- Deal with all internal and external enquiries from colleagues and underwriters
- Carry out all duties relating to internal policies and procedures in accordance with laws, rules & regulation

Skills & experience required:

- Previous insurance administration experience
- Working towards or gained one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert/Dip CII/ ACII is desirable as is being educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Ability to work towards targets and can recognise potential risk
- Good rapport-building skills with focus on providing solid customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work towards deadlines in a timely manner
- High attention to detail and good organisation skills
