**Learning Support Assistant**

**LSA required at a primary school in Wisbech, Cambridge - Immediate start on a long-term basis - KS1 & KS2 - £90/£95 per day based on experience.**

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? If so, we have exciting opportunities in and around Wisbech who are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to join their schools.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a personalised learning plan that meets the specific educational and behavioural needs of the pupil you support. This may include children with autism or other special educational needs.

**Long term role starting immediately - Potential to become a permanent post**

**Salary based on skills and experience between £90/£95 per day**

We are looking for dedicated, empathetic, and compassionate individuals who have prior experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN), particularly autism, in a one-to-one setting. You will need to be patient, understanding, and able to support pupils who may require more time, attention, or adjustments to their learning plans.

You will be joining a team of teachers and professionals who are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. You will work closely with the SENCO and teachers to ensure that the pupil you support is able to achieve their full potential.

The key requirements for this role are:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with children and teachers
- Work as part of a team, taking direction from teachers and the SENCO, whilst also being able to work independently and use your initiative
- Prior experience in working with children who have special educational needs (SEN), particularly autism, in a one-to-one setting
- A willingness to deal with challenging behaviour and manage emotional regulation
