A fantastic opportunity has recently become available for Graduates who are considering a career in primary teaching and would like the opportunity to gain invaluable school based experience from September through working as a Graduate teaching assistant.

A forward thinking, outstanding East London primary school are looking for three Graduates to join the team from September to work as Graduate TAs on a full time basis. The school is based in the London borough of Newham and is the ideal environment forGraduates who are eager to develop their experience with young people in a primary school setting in anticipation for beginning teacher training in the near future.

As a Graduate teaching assistant you will be allocated a class within year 1 - year 6 and will be supporting the class through working as a general Graduate teaching assistant. You will be working with pupils of all abilities in small groups and on a 1:1basis and will gain excellent experience which will stand you in good stead for when you commence teacher training.

The school are looking to hear from Graduates who have a passion for working with young people and have an interest in potentially becoming a primary school teacher in the future. You will also need to have some form of recent experience with young people
- paid or voluntary. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as tutoring, youth work, University placements, overseas teaching, sports coaching
